Christine M. Bonaventura, LAC

Christine is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in the state of New Jersey and a member of the American Counseling Association.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Bucknell University, her Master of Science in Counseling from Cairn University and her professional certificate of Advanced Specialization in Counseling from Cairn University.

In addition to her education, Christine has experience as a residential counselor for troubled youth, an educator in the public-school system, and a leader of various women’s groups.  With unique passion and skill in both counseling and education, Christine integrates the two seamlessly in the counseling relationship. Over the years, she has counseled and taught adolescents, women, men, and couples to find hope and healing in various struggles and mental health issues.  Whether dealing with past trauma, relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, grief, personality disorders, or career fulfillment, Christine creates and implements personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of appropriate interventions.  Christine’s approach is supportive and encouraging.

Christine continues to educate herself by attending conferences, reading the current research in therapy, and participating in both individual and group supervision.
